Ingredients
Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Paraffinum Liquidum, Petrolatum, Propylene Glycol, Ceteareth-20, Dmdm Hydantoin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
This product already has all the preservatives you require, so there is no need to add more.
Instructions
*Ensure you use deionised water. (Always only use deionised water when making lotions/creams that are water based.)
1 Litre:
Thin lotion - add to 8 Litres hot water.
Thick body butter - add to 3.5 Liters hot water.
Medium cream - add to 5 Litres hot water.
- Heat 1 Litre of water to 80 degrees Celsius
- Add 120g cream base and stir well until dissolved and free of lumps.
- As the cream cools, it will become thicker. Stir periodically until thick and smooth.
- To make a thicker cream use 140g of cream base and 1 Litre of hot water.
- Add fragrance (optional), and water-soluble dye (optional).
2.5KG:
Thin Lotion - add to 22.5 litres hot water.
Thick body butter - add to 13 Litres hot water.
Medium cream - add to 17 Litres hot water.
- Heat 23 Litres deionised water to 80 degrees celcius.
- Add cremex and stir in well until dissolved. Stir the mixture every now and then until cooled.
- Add fragrance (optional), and water-soluble dye (optional).
Note: This product is very versatile; if you want a thick cream, lower the amount of water to 15-17 Litres. Follow the previous instructions.
