Instructions for Melting Candle Wax

*Please read before use

This melter heats from the bottom only. The sides of the pot do not contain heating elements. Therefore, the wax must be stirred while melting to distribute the heat evenly.

How to melt your wax

1. Break the wax into smaller pieces

For faster and more even melting, break large blocks into pieces of approximately 2–3 cm. Do not place one large block into the melter.

2. Add the wax

Place the required amount of wax into the melter. Do not overfill the pot.

3. Set the temperature

Turn the temperature knob to a medium/high setting initially to get the melting process started.

4. Stir regularly

As soon as some wax has melted at the bottom, gently stir the wax. This brings the unmelted wax into contact with the warm melted wax.

Continue stirring every few minutes while the wax melts.

5. Reduce the temperature

Once most of the wax has melted, turn the temperature down to the desired working temperature for your particular wax.

6. Check the temperature

Always use a thermometer to check the actual temperature of the wax before adding fragrance or pouring your candles.

IMPORTANT

Do not rely solely on the temperature setting on the knob. Always check the actual wax temperature with a thermometer.

Do not leave the melter unattended while switched on.

Do not heat wax unnecessarily above its recommended temperature.

Never add water to hot wax.

Keep away from children and pets.

Use heat-resistant utensils when stirring.

Do not touch the heating element.
