How to Use:
As is:
1. Measure and cut the desired length of wick from the roll, ensuring it is slightly longer than the height of your candle vessel.
2. Center the wick in the vessel, gently pressing it down to the bottom.
3. Pour your melted wax into the vessel, taking care not to displace the wick.
4. Allow the candle to cool and solidify before trimming the wick to approximately ¼ inch (0.6 cm) above the wax surface.
5. Light your candle and enjoy the warm, inviting glow.

With sustainers and wick holder:
1. Follow steps 1 and 2 as mentioned above.
2. Insert one end of the wick into the hole of the sustainer, ensuring it is securely in place.
3. Center the sustainer-wick assembly in the vessel, pressing it down to the bottom.
4. Use the metal wick holder to hold the wick in place while pouring the wax to ensure it remains centred and straight.
5. Proceed with steps 3-5 outlined above.

Waxing the Wick:
Before using the cotton wick roll in your candle-making projects, it's recommended to wax the wick for improved performance. Here's how and why:
- How: Dip the desired length of wick into melted wax, ensuring it is thoroughly coated. Remove the wick from the wax and allow it to cool and harden before use.
- Why: Waxing the wick helps to stabilize the fibres, reduce smoking and mushrooming, and promote a more even burn. It also assists in better adherence of the wick to the wax, preventing displacement during pouring and burning.
